Dave is perhaps best known as “Joey” from the hit ABC television series, Full House, which aired for eight seasons on ABC and Fuller House for five seasons on Netflix. Fuller House has won the People's Choice, Kid's Choice and Teen Choice awards for Favorite Family sitcom.
Dave also hosted ABC's America’s Funniest People, World's Funniest Videos and his own series, Out of Control for Nickelodeon. Dave hosted Animal Kidding on the Animal Planet Network. You’ve also seen Dave guest star on How I Met Your Mother on CBS and appearances on the Super Bowl for Dannon Yogurt, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The View, The Talk, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, OPRAH: Where Are They Now?, Bravo’s Watch What Happens L!ve, Good Morning America and The Today Show.
Dave appeared on VH1’s #1 rated series The Surreal Life, and hosted multiple seasons of America’s Most Talented Kids for the i Network. Dave partnered with Nancy Kerrigan on the Skating With Celebrities series on the Fox Network. Dave starred in two movies; Shredderman for Nickelodeon and The Family Holiday, which aired on Lifetime, co-starred in The Disney Channel’s highest rated movie, The 13th Year.
Highly regarded for his voice-over talent, Dave's additional credits include many Saturday morning cartoon favorites. He began by doing voices on Hanna-Barbera's Scooby Doo and the re-syndicated version of The Jetson's. Dave then went on to lend his versatile voice to Jim Henson's multiple Emmy Award-winning animated series, The Muppet Babies, where he portrayed Animal, Bunsen Honeydew, Waldorf and Statler (the two old guys in the balcony on the original Muppet Show) and Bean Bunny. Dave voiced Peter Venkman for The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, and the Cartoon Networks' Robot Chicken and China, IL for Cartoon Networks' Adult Swim lineup. Dave also teamed-up with Dave Thomas on The Bob and Doug (McKenzie) animated series. Keep an ear open for his voiceover work on Voltron, Curious George and Family Guy as well. Dave can also be heard as the voice of Kellogg’s Raisin Bran and the GEICO Legends national radio campaign.
Dave wrote and produced the musical storybook for kids: “The Adventures Of Jimmy Bugar” which features 15 songs and is available on iBooks.
Dave's performed his clean stand-up on The Tonight Show, HBO's Detroit Comedy Jam and HBO's Comic Relief at Radio City Music Hall. Dave continues to sell out shows at colleges, corporate events, casinos, nightclubs and theaters. In 2020, Dave will embark on a standup tour of 24 Air Force Bases across the USA.

Dave resides in his home state of Michigan with his wife, photographer and producer, Melissa Bring and their rescue dog, Shorty. In his free time, Dave enjoys flying his airplane, playing ice hockey and golf.
